  1. When you multiply any number by 10 you have to move the digits one space up and then you fill the gap with a zero.
    For Example:
    700 x 10 = 7000
    TH H T U
    7 0 0 X 10 =

    7 0 0 0

    Here is an example of my working out a number x 10.

  2. When you times anything by 10 it means the tens moves up by ten and it always ends with a zero for example:
    10
    20
    30
    40
    It always end with zero it’s like adding ten.

    3X10=30
    30X10=300
    300X10=3000

    6X10=60
    60X10=600
    600X10=6000

    This is how you times by ten , to remind me I just think of it as adding zero on the end .
