Find the missing length
Year 5 have been working hard this week in maths finding missing lengths and working out the perimeter and area. Explain how to find the missing length if the perimeter of a rectangle is 72cm and one of the sides measures 14.5cm.
Explain what you found out when applying your skills.

  1. It takes 25 tiles to fill 2 meters.
    We also found out that one tile has an area of 106 a perimeter of 40cm and a lenght of 40cm.

  2. You need 25 tiles to fill 2 meters. Each square tile has a 160cm perimeter and has both a length and width of 40cm.
